A cheese shop I passed by between classes, in the Flores area. Oy, what a day I had today, running all around the city, traveling for hours, walking for kilometers. At least it means I get to see a lot more of the city, and many more of its interesting little nooks, than I would with a 9 to 5 job!

How much of the cheeses would be familiar to us North Americans? I suspect that there are some different types down there.

Most of it would be fairly familiar - in fact, there seems to be less variety down here than back home. Sharp cheese doesn't exist, or even anything that smelly. It's mostly creamy soft white cheese. It's good, but sometimes I could really go for some really really sharp cheddar or something with jalapeños in it!
