This is a very popular tea stand chain here in Kaohsiung. I don't know who advised them to choose this name, but I think they were having a laugh. (The tea is very good, though.)

I am from Illinois USA. This is actually one of my blood brother's chain store in Taiwan. The Chinese word for stupid has quite a few meanings. If you understand the Chinese next to it, it actually means "silly or have fun". It was designed to create a debate such as the one here as to why someone would name their place "stupid Ice Tea." Asked your Chinese friends to see the uniforms design, the Chinese letter of Stupid is very every cute. The soft drinks are very good here at Stupid too.
