The woman who baked our wedding cake, Julie, was kind enough to give me the recipe. I plan to make us a small wedding cake each year on our anniversary. Since this year's anniversary weekend was a bit crazy, it got put off until Friday, when we took the cake over to share with some friends. I think I need some more practice with the recipe, but it was well-received. Luckily, we've got many years ahead of us in which to perfect this delicious cake!
